This exciting project seeks to find spacious solutions to the human need for inner peace and tranquility.
Consisting of multiple units of cabins – hiding deep in the forest of Gauja National Park, Latvia – this project is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and offers the opportunity to connect with our natural world.
Nestled amongst the trees, with their sleek and minimalistic design, the cabins blend seamlessly into their natural surroundings, their exterior wrapped elegantly and modestly in dark wooden cladding.
Inside the cabins are open and airy, with large windows inviting in floods of light and offering generous views of the surrounding forest, from both ground and mezzanine levels. Each cabin has sleeping areas, a bathroom and a kitchenette, and can accommodate up to four guests comfortably. The living space is both cosy and functional, with a wood burner and a place to enjoy the outside vistas.
The cabins are well-insulated and their windows can withstand the coldest weather in the area.
